 Friends, just moments ago, the renowned litterateur, storyteller, translator, and announcer, Mr. Sanjay Purohit, shared with me a piece of information of immense significance—one that is directly linked to my creative journey in the field of painting!

He sent me two images via WhatsApp, sourced from the May 2026 issue of the monthly magazine *International Chronology* (Current G.K.). This particular issue features a report on the recent Bikaner Foundation Day celebrations, during which the Rao Bikaji Institute of Bikaner honored approximately 20 talented creative artists from the city. Within this report—specifically in the context of these awards—mention has been made of my own selection for this year's prestigious 'Maharaja Shri Anup Singh Award' in the category of Painting! This honor was conferred upon me by the Rao Bikaji Institute of Bikaner during the Foundation Day ceremony held at the Rao Bikaji Statue Precinct, Junagarh. The presentation took place in the presence of key officials from the Bikaner administration—including the Divisional Commissioner, District Collector, and Superintendent of Police—alongside the City MLA, Shri Jethanand Vyas; the eminent historian of Rajasthani history, Shri Rajveer Singh; the President of the Rao Bikaji Institute, Shri Girija Shankar Sharma; the Secretary, Shri Vidyasagar Acharya; the Master of Ceremonies, Shri Sanjay Purohit; and all other office-bearers of the Rao Bikaji Institute, Bikaner.

It is a matter of immense joy and honor for me that the editors of *International Chronology* (Current G.K.) have deemed the award I received for my creative endeavors—specifically the 'Maharaja Anup Singh Award for Painting'—worthy of inclusion in their May 2026 issue. By selecting this specific event as a potential question for General Knowledge competitive examinations or as a topic for study curricula, they have elevated this recognition into an even more extraordinary achievement for me! For this, I express my heartfelt gratitude to the editor of the *International Chronology* (Current G.K.) monthly magazine.

I am sharing here, for your perusal, the two images sent by Mr. Sanjay Purohit (from the May 2026 issue of *International Chronology* / Current G.K. magazine). I share these with you with a sense of great excitement and enthusiasm!

मित्रों अभी अभी मुझे साहित्यकार /कथाकार/ अनुवादक / उद्घोषक श्री संजय पुरोहित जी ने बहुत ही महत्त्व पूर्ण जानकारी मेरे साथ साझा की  जिसका सीधा सम्बन्ध  मेरी सृजन यात्रा चित्रकला से है ! 

आपने मुझे व्हाट्सप्प पर दो इमेज भेजी है जो की अंतर्राष्ट्रीय क्रोनोलोजी ( करंट -जी - के ) मासिक पत्रिका  अंक मई 2026 की है  !  इस अंक में हाल ही में बीकानेर के स्थापना दिवस के उपलक्ष में बीकानेर के प्रतिभावान 20  के करीब सृजन धर्मियों को  राव बीकाजी संस्थान बीकानेर ने  सम्मानित किया था उनका जिक्र किया गया है और उस सम्मान की कड़ी के जिक्र में  इस वर्ष के लिए महाराजा श्री अनूप सिंह अवार्ड चित्रकला के लिए मेरा जो  चयन किया गया था उसका  जिक्र किया गया है!  मुझे  ये सम्मान बीकानेर के स्थापना दिवस पर राव बीकाजी प्रतिमा प्रांगण जूनागढ़ पर बीकानेर  प्रशासन के प्रमुख अधिकारी डिविजनल कमिश्नर , जिला कलेक्टर , पुलिस अधीक्षक के साथ नगर विधायक श्री जेठानन्द व्यास , राजस्थानी इतिहास के ज्ञाता श्री राजवीर सिंह जी के साथ राव बीकाजी संस्थान के अध्यक्ष श्री गिरजा शंकर शर्मा जी और सचिव श्री विद्यासागर आचार्य जी की उपस्थिति में मंच संचालक श्री संजय पुरोहित जी और समस्त पदाधिकारी राव बीकाजी संस्थान बीकानेर की उपस्थिति में मुझे दिया गया था  राव बीकाजी संस्थान बीकानेर द्वारा  !  

मेरे लिए ये अति हर्ष और सम्मान की बात है की मेरी सृजन यात्रा के लिए मुझे मिले सम्मान महाराजा अनूप सिंह जी चित्रकला विषय के इस बिंदु को सामान्य ज्ञान की प्रतियोगी परीक्षा की प्रश्नावली के लिए या पाठ्यक्रम के लिए चयनित करते हुए  प्रतियोगी परीक्षा के पाठ्यक्रम की इस अंतर्राष्ट्रीय क्रोनोलोजी ( करंट -जी - के ) मासिक पत्रिका  अंक मई 2026 में  स्थान देते हुए मेरे लिए इसे और विशेष उपलब्धि बना दिया है ! जिसके लिए मैं इस अंतर्राष्ट्रीय क्रोनोलोजी ( करंट -जी - के ) मासिक पत्रिका   के संपादक जी  का हृदय से कृतज्ञ हूँ !

 "Mother's Day Special"

Friends, today marks World Mother's Day, and on this special occasion, I extend my warmest wishes to all of you! Since early this morning, I noticed that on Facebook and various other social media platforms, many distinguished individuals were sharing photographs related to Mother's Day on their timelines.

Among these individuals, some shared recent photographs featuring themselves alongside their mothers, while others shared vintage images of their mothers. Within these vintage collections, I even observed several black-and-white photographs shared in their posts. As an artist, my heart was deeply moved by this sight; I felt a strong desire to breathe life into these monochrome memories of the past—to infuse them with color—and thereby touch the hearts of those who shared them, adding vibrancy to their cherished recollections.

And so, I did just that. I selected approximately five black-and-white photographs and, utilizing the power of Artificial Intelligence, meticulously edited and colorized them.

The very first photograph I colorized was a childhood image of Dr. Ajay Joshi—an image he had originally shared on his own Facebook page—in which he is pictured alongside his mother. For those unaware, Dr. Ajay Joshi is a distinguished expert in the field of Commerce; he is the son-in-law of the legendary cinematic artists—the late Shri Bharat Vyas and the late Shri B.M. Vyas (of Bikaner/Mumbai)—and serves as the successful editor of *Maru Nav Kiran*, a quarterly literary magazine published in Bikaner. Furthermore, he holds the esteemed position of a senior *Samdhi* (in-law) within our own family circle.

Dr. Ajay Joshi graciously acknowledged and honored my artistic endeavor—which was created with deep emotion and dedicated to the spirit of Mother's Day—by resharing it on his own Facebook timeline today. By giving such prominence to my sentiments on this special day, he has truly touched my heart; for this, I offer him my deepest gratitude.

The second photograph I colorized was that of the highly revered late Rajmata (Queen Mother) Shri Sushila Kumari Ji Hukum of Bikaner. This particular image had been shared by the Princess of Bikaner, the honorable Shri Rajyashree Kumari Ji Hukum. I took this original black-and-white photograph of the late Rajmata Sahiba and lovingly restored it by infusing it with color. I conveyed that photograph to Her Highness Princess Shri Rajshree Kumari Ji Hukum via WhatsApp, with feelings of deep respect and reverence.

The third photograph I colorized was that of Shri Arun Maheshwari Ji with his mother. I came across this image on Shri Arun Maheshwari Ji's Facebook wall; it was originally in black and white. I edited it to restore its color and shared it in the comments section of his Facebook post. Upon seeing the colorized image, you wrote back to thank me, expressing your appreciation for my efforts. It is worth noting that Shri Arun Maheshwari Ji is the son-in-law of the late "People's Poet" (Janakavi) Shri Harish Bhadani Ji of Bikaner/Kolkata. He is, himself, a successful educationist and a social thinker.

The fourth photograph I colorized was that of the film star and actress, Bhagyashree Ji. She had shared a childhood photograph of herself with her mother—an image featuring an Eastman Color/monochrome/single-tone reddish-brown hue. I edited this image to restore its full color and shared it back with her, conveying my wishes for Mother's Day.

The fifth and final photograph I colorized was that of the litterateur Shri Ravi Purohit Ji. He, too, had shared a childhood photograph in which he is seen sitting in his grandmother's lap. That photograph was also originally in black and white. Consequently, I used AI assistance to colorize it and shared it directly on his Facebook post.

Thus, on the occasion of Mother's Day, I endeavored to convey my greetings through artistic expression—utilizing digital art and photo editing techniques to colorize the black-and-white photographs shared by several distinguished personalities, thereby touching upon their cherished memories of the past.

Attached to this post, I am sharing the five colorized photographs I edited for your perusal, so that you, too, may witness this creative endeavor I undertook on Mother's Day.

विश्व मातृ  दिवस

मित्रों आज विश्व मातृ  दिवस रहा और आज के इस मातृ दिवस पर आप सभी को विशेष शुभकामनाएं  मेरी और से ! मैंने आज सुबह से ही नोटिस किया की फेसबुक और अन्य सोशल मीडिया पेजेज पर सभी प्रबुद्ध जन अपने पटल पर मातृ दिवस से जुड़े छाया चित्र साझा कर रहे थे ! 

और उन प्रबुद्ध जन में कुछ  ने अपना छायाचित्र अपनी माता जी के साथ वाला साझा किया तो कुछ ने पुराने छायाचित्र  साझा किये अपने माता जी के ! पुराने छायाचित्रों  में भी श्याम स्वेत वर्ण के छाया चित्र भी देखे मैंने प्रबुद्ध जनो  की पोस्ट के रूप में और मेरा कलाकार का मन भावुक हुआ ये देख कर की अतीत की स्मृतियों को जो की श्याम स्वेत वर्ण में है उसे रंगीन करते हुए छायाचित्र साझा करने वालों के हृदय को स्पर्श कर सकूँ उनकी स्मृतियों में रंग भरते हुए ! 

मैंने ऐसा किया भी और करीब पांच श्याम स्वेत छाया चित्रों को चयन करते हुए मैंने रंगीन किया  एडिटिंग करते हुए आर्टिफीसियल इंटेलिजेंस का सहयोग लेते हुए ! 

उन छाया चित्रों में मैंने पहले पहल रंगीन जिस छाया चित्र को  किया वो छाया चित्र रहा डॉ. अजय जोशी जी   का उनके    बचपन का  एक छायाचित्र !  जिसे आप ने  साझा किया अपने फेसबुक पेज से ! जिसमे आप   अपनी माता जिसके साथ है ! आप को विदित हो डॉ. अजय जोशी जी एक कुशल वाणिज्यिक विषय के ज्ञाता है , सिनेमा के महान  कलाकार स्वर्गीय श्री भारत व्यास जी  और स्वर्गीय श्री बी एम व्यास जी बीकानेर / मुंबई वालों के दामाद है और एक सफल संपादक मरू नव किरण  त्रिमासिक साहित्यिक पत्रिका बीकानेर के  हमारे परिवार के वरिष्ठ समधी जी भी ! 

डॉ. अजय जोशी जी ने मेरे भाव पूर्ण किये गए कला कर्म को जो की मातृ दिवस के भाव के साथ समर्पित रहा उसे अपनी फेसबुक पोस्ट से पुनः साझा करते हुए मेरी भावनाओं को भी पूरा स्थान दिया आज मातृ दिवस पर सो उन्हें साधुवाद ! 

दूसरा छाया चित्र मैंने रंगीन किया बीकानेर की अति सम्मानियन स्वर्गीय राजमाता श्री सुशीला कुमारी जी  हुकुम का ,आप का छाया चित्र साझा किया  बीकानेर की राजकुमारी सम्मानीय श्री राज्यश्री कुमारी  जी  हुकुम  ने , राजमता  साब का  छाया चित्र भी मैंने रंगीन किया श्याम  स्वेत छायाचित्र से  ! मैंने वो  छाया चित्र  व्हाट्सप्प के जरिये राजकुमारी श्री राजश्री कुमारी जी हुकुम तक पहुँचाया सम्मान व् वंदन के भाव से  ! 

तीसरा छाया चित्र मैंने रंगीन किया वो रहा श्री अरुण माहेश्वरी जी का अपनी माता जी के साथ का , ये छायाचित्र मैंने श्री अरुण माहेश्वरी  फेसबुक वाल पर देखा जो श्याम स्वेत रंग में था जिसे एडिट करते हुए रंगीन किया और उसे उनकी फेसबुक पोस्ट की कॉमेंट बॉक्स में साझा किया ! आप ने  रंगीन छाया चित्र को देखा और मुझे शुक्रिया लिखा मेरे प्रयास की सराहना करते हुए ! आप को विदित हो श्रीमान अरुण माहेश्वरी जी जनकवि स्वर्गीय श्री हरिश भादाणी जी बीकानेर / कोलकाता वालों के दामाद है ! आप   स्वयं एक सफल शिक्षाविद और समाज चिंतक भी है  ! 

चौथा छाया चित्र मैंने रंगीन किया सिने स्टार एक्ट्रेस भाग्यश्री जी का , आप ने अपनी बचपन की एक फोटो अपनी माता जी के साथ की साझा की जो ईस्टमैन कलर / मोनोक्रोम रंग / एकल रंग रेडिश ब्राउन टोन वाला साझा किया जिसे मैंने एडिट करते हुए रंगीन किया और उन्हें साझा किया मातृ दिवस की शुभकामनाएं देते हुए ! 

अंतिम और पांचवां छाया चित्र मैंने रंगीन किया साहित्यकार रवि पुरोहित जी का आप ने भी अपने बचपन का छाया चित्र साझा किया जिसमे आप अपनी दादी की गोद में है ! वो छाया चित्र भी श्याम स्वेत रंग में था ! सो मैंने उसे भी रंगीन किया ऐ आई की मदद से और उनकी ही फेसबुक पोस्ट पर साझा किया ! 

 इस प्रकार  मातृ दिवस पर मैंने डिजिटल आर्ट और फोटो एडिटिंग के कार्य से कुछ प्रबुद्ध जन की श्याम स्वेत छायाचित्र की पोस्ट को रंगीन करते हुए कलात्मक अभिव्यक्ति से उनकी अतीत की स्मृतियों को स्पर्श करते हुए मातृ दिवस की शुभकामनाएं प्रेषित करने का प्रयास किया ! 

यहाँ इस पोस्ट के साथ मेरे द्वारा किये गए छायाचित्र एडिटिंग के वे पांच रंगीन छाया चित्र आप के अवलोकन हेतु साझा कर रहा हूँ ! ताकि आप भी जाने मेरी मातृ दिवस पर की गयी सृजनात्मक अभिव्यक्ति के अभ्यास को !

 "A Dedicated Art Student: Siddharth Khatri of Bikaner"

Last month, I shared a post on the 'Art Vibration' blog regarding two art students. One of them was Siddharth Khatri, and the other was Manish Solanki; both are  from my hometown - Bikaner. For their respective semester projects, both students are currently compiling dissertation files—each in their own unique way—based on my creative journey. One is working on a B.V.A. (Painting) dissertation for the B.J.S. Rampuria Jain College in Bikaner, while the other is preparing a Master of Fine Arts dissertation for the College of Fine Arts in Gwalior.

Here, I would like to specifically mention Siddharth Khatri. With immense dedication and focus, he devoted considerable time to meeting with me and engaging in a comprehensive dialogue from the perspective of a researcher. Last week, he shared the outcome of this endeavor with me in the form of a 50-page written dissertation file (in PDF format). In this document, while chronicling my creative journey, he has attempted to analyze and portray me through the lens of a researcher and analyst—a feat that truly reflects Siddharth's talent and his profound dedication to his subject matter.

I was also particularly pleased to note that Siddharth did not meet with me solely for the purpose of completing his dissertation; rather, he harbored numerous curiosities regarding contemporary art that he sought to satisfy through our interaction. Siddharth has duly cited and referenced all these inquiries—and the insights gained from them—within his dissertation. Furthermore, the inquisitive Siddharth formulated his questions entirely on his own—questions that were distinctly original and completely divergent from any standard academic questionnaire. To me, this demonstrated Siddharth's genuine engagement with the arts and his drive to explore beyond conventional boundaries—a quality that, amidst today's prevalent "copy-paste" culture, is absolutely essential for every aspiring art student.

Within the span of 50 pages, Siddharth has not only encapsulated the essence of my artistic journey but also expounded upon it in depth; he has grasped the underlying rationale behind my artistic philosophy and articulated it with precision and accuracy. A junior artist has not only shown deep respect to a senior artist but has also carved a niche for himself within the realm of art. Therefore, I extend my blessings—along with my best wishes—for a successful and creatively fulfilling future for Master Siddharth Khatri.

Presented here are a few photographs featuring Master Siddharth, alongside excerpts from the dissertation file he completed during our collaborative creative journey at the Gwalior College of Fine Arts. These glimpses are shared so that you, too, may understand and appreciate how an art student—through tireless effort—dedicates himself wholeheartedly—body, mind, resources, and time—to the endeavor of establishing himself as a professional artist.

पिछले महीने मैंने आर्ट वाइब्रेशन ब्लॉग पर एक पोस्ट दो कला विद्यार्थियों के विषय में साझा की थी जिसमे एक कला विद्यार्थी रहा मास्टर सिद्धार्थ खत्री और दूसरा विद्यार्थी रहा मनीष सोलंकी , दोनों ही मेरे बीकानेर शहर से है और अपने अपने सेमेस्टर के लिए मेरी सृजन यात्रा को आधार बनाकर अपने अपने तरीके से डेज़र्टेशन  फाइल बना रहे है एक बीकानेर की बी जे एस रामपुरिया जैन कॉलेज के बी वि ऐ पेंटिंग के लिए तो एक ग्वालियर की ललित कला  कॉलेज के मास्टर ऑफ़ फाइन आर्ट के लिए !

यहाँ मैं जिक्र करने जा रहा हूँ मास्टर सिद्धार्थ खत्री का जिसने बड़े ही मनो योग से मेरे से मुलाकात के साथ समय देते हुए पूरी बात एक शोधार्थी के रूप में की और पिछले सप्ताह मुझे उसका परिणाम भी साझा किया अपनी एक 50 पृष्ठ में लिखित डेज़र्टेशन फाइल ( पि डी एफ  फॉर्मेट में ) के जरिये जिसमे मेरी सर्जन यात्रा का जिक्र करते हुए एक शोधार्थी या विश्लेषक के रूप में मुझे उल्लेखित करने का प्रयास किया है ! जो मास्टर सिद्धार्थ की प्रतिभा और अपने विषय के प्रति उसके समर्पित भाव को परिलक्षित कर रहा है !

 

 मुझे ये भी अच्छा लगा की मास्टर सिद्धार्थ खत्री अपने डेज़र्टेशन को पूर्ण करने के लिए ही मुझसे नहीं मिला बल्कि उसकी अनेको ऐसी जिज्ञासाएं भी थी जिसे वो मेरे जरिये पूर्ण करना चाहता था समकालीन कला के लिए और उस सभी जिज्ञासाओं का जिक्र भी मास्टर सिद्धार्थ  खत्री ने अपनी इस डेज़र्टेशन में मेरे हवाले से उल्लेखित कि है ! जिज्ञासु सिद्धार्थ खत्री ने मुझसे प्रश्न भी स्वयं के बनाये हुए ही किये किसी अकादमिक प्रश्नावली से बिलकुल भिन्न पृथक ! जो मास्टर सिद्धार्थ की कला के प्रति साझाकता और लिक से इतर कुछ जानने की क्रिया सा प्रतीत हुआ मुझे जो की हर कला विद्यार्थी में ऐसा होना जरुरी सा  है आज के इस कॉपी पेस्ट कल्चर के मध्य  ! 

मास्टर सिद्धार्थ ने 50 पृष्ठों में मेरी कला यात्रा को समेटा भी है और उसे विस्तार भी दिया है , मेरे कला तर्कों को समझा भी है और उन्हें ठीक से उल्लेखित भी किया  है ! एक जूनियर कलाकार ने एक सीनियर कलाकार को सम्मान भी दिया है और कला में स्थान भी सो मैं मास्टर सिद्धार्थ खत्री के सफल सृजनात्मक कला भविष्य के लिए शुभकामनाओं के साथ आशीर्वाद भी देता हूँ !

 Well, look at that—I’ve finally received my Master of Fine Arts (Painting) degree from the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur, after 20 years (2005–2026)!

Friends, today—finally, after a span of 20 years and five months—the University of Rajasthan delivered my Master of Fine Arts (Painting) degree to me via the Indian Postal Service, having collected an additional fee of ₹410. For this, I shall remain eternally grateful to the University of Rajasthan!

An amusing, yet startling, twist in this entire process of obtaining my degree was the realization—which dawned upon me for the very first time after 20 years—that within the registers of the Rajasthan School of Arts, there exists absolutely no record to this day regarding the degree of *that very art student* (myself)—who had poured his heart and soul into helping establish the Master of Fine Arts program at the college, and who had subsequently graduated as the batch topper—nor is there any documentation for the *entire inaugural batch* of the Master of Fine Arts program at the Rajasthan School of Arts, Jaipur (2004–2005)!

This situation is simultaneously laughable and a bitter truth—indeed, it is a fact so bizarre that it is hard to swallow! Yet, it is what it is; what can one do? As the saying goes, "Even horses cannot retrieve words once they have left the mouth!" Anyway—all's well that ends well! We often see the phrase "May the face of evil be blackened" (a traditional Indian idiom to ward off misfortune) painted on the backs of trucks on the road; today, however, I have employed it in my writing to express the sentiment of this occasion!

Recently—20 years after the fact—I had to make a trip to the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur, once again to retrieve my Master of Fine Arts (Painting) degree. Upon arriving there, I was required to submit the necessary documents for the degree—including my mark sheets, Aadhaar card, etc.—and pay a token fee of ₹410 to obtain an official receipt. Furthermore, I had to seek assistance from Mr. Mukesh Kandela (an official on the library staff at the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur), Mr. Pradeep (a staff member at my alma mater, the Rajasthan School of Arts), and my junior colleague—now the administrator of the Rajasthan School of Arts Alumni Association—Mr. Dadhichi Patel. It was only through their collective efforts that a path finally opened up for me to receive the Master of Fine Arts (Painting) degree—a qualification I had successfully completed in the year 2005, having secured the first position in my batch! I completed the process of obtaining my Master's degree on April 27, 2026, at the Records Office of the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. And today—ten days later—my Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Rajasthan is finally in my hands! I extend my deepest gratitude to all the staff members of the University of Rajasthan for the tireless efforts they invested in recreating my 20-year-old degree in a brand-new format. I also firmly believe that you are all truly fine individuals, dedicated to serving the University of Rajasthan and committed to the holistic development of education across our state of Rajasthan. May you all be blessed!

The University of Rajasthan delivered this degree to me in Bikaner via the Indian Postal Service. I personally collected it this morning from the Main Post Office in Bikaner. Yesterday evening, a postman from the Speed ​​Post service called to inform me that a package had arrived for me from the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur, and that it would be delivered to me either by this evening or by tomorrow.

Now, as the saying goes, "Once bitten, twice shy"—or as we say in Hindi, "One who has been burnt by milk blows on even buttermilk before drinking it!" I was gripped by the fear that, since the package had already reached Bikaner, it might—for some unforeseen reason—be returned to the sender. I dreaded the possibility of a "near miss"—where success is within reach yet slips through one's fingers—and feared that the long, arduous saga of obtaining my Master's degree might repeat itself all over again.

Consequently, I sent my current location details to the postal service's contact number, but that approach yielded no results. Night fell, yet the package remained undelivered. So, I decided to reach out to my personal contacts. I informed Shri Babulal Chhangani—a truly distinguished and exceptional personality in Bikaner, renowned as a poet of satire and humor—that my Master's degree from the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur—awaited for 20 years—had finally arrived at my address in Bikaner and was currently being held at the Main Post Office. Shri Babulal Chhangani happens to be employed at the Bikaner Head Post Office, serving within the postman cadre. A literary figure and poet, Shri Babulal Chhangani is as profound and earnest a human being as he is a witty satirist. Understanding the gravity of my situation, he asked me to visit the Main Post Office in Bikaner this very morning. Adhering to his instructions, I presented myself at the Main Post Office right on time and proceeded directly to meet Mr. Babulal. Without wasting a moment, he contacted the Speed ​​Post delivery agent—a postman named Master Deepak—and, with his own hands, respectfully presented me with the large envelope containing my Master of Fine Arts degree, which had arrived for me from the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. As he handed it over, he offered me his heartfelt congratulations. It was a truly fascinating moment for me—receiving my Master's degree, twenty years after completing it, at the hands of a senior literary figure from my very own city! Wow! Though informal, those moments felt imbued with the solemnity and significance of an official university convocation ceremony; they were truly extraordinary—moments for which words fail to provide an adequate description.

During those special moments, I remarked to Mr. Babulal Chhangani that I felt as though the University of Rajasthan had organized a special convocation ceremony right there at the Bikaner Head Office of the Indian Postal Service—creating this wonderful opportunity for me to receive my First Class Master of Fine Arts (Painting) degree, earned twenty years ago, directly from his distinguished hands and under his gracious hospitality.

He even called upon one of his colleagues and asked him to take a photograph—using my own camera—capturing the moment he personally handed the envelope containing my Master's degree from his hands into mine. To ensure the perfect shot, he even stepped out into the open courtyard of the Bikaner Main Post Office and personally selected the ideal location for the photograph. Thus, I offer my repeated and sincere accolades to Mr. Babulal Chhangani for fulfilling the responsibilities of the Indian Postal Service not merely as a duty, but with genuine dedication and from the heart.

The event that was supposed to take place twenty years ago within the precincts of the University of Rajasthan—as part of a convocation ceremony—finally came to fruition today in the courtyard of the Main Post Office in Bikaner. I accepted this moment with the sentiment that "better late than never." Furthermore, treating those moments as a *de facto* convocation ceremony—and embracing my role as an artist holding a Master of Fine Arts degree—I endeavored to quell a certain "mirage of the mind" by utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) to transform a photograph of the envelopes containing my and Mr. Babulal Chhangani’s University of Rajasthan degrees into an image evocative of a true convocation ceremony.

लो जी मिल गयी मुझे मेरी मास्टर ऑफ़ फाइन आर्ट्स पेंटिंग की डिग्री 20  साल ( 2005 -2026 )बाद यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ़ राजस्थान जयपुर से ! r ji 

मित्रों आज आखिरकार 20 वर्ष और पाँच महीने के उपरांत मेरी मास्टर ऑफ़ फाइन आर्ट्स ( पेंटिंग ) की डिग्री यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ़ राजस्थान ने मुझे भारतीय डाक सेवा के जरिये मुझसे अतिरिक्त 410 रूपए की फीस  लेते हुए मुझ तक पहुंचाई ! जिसके लिए मैं यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ़ राजस्थान का हमेशा कृतज्ञ रहूँगा !

मझे की बात ये भी रही मेरी इस डिग्री प्राप्ति प्रक्रिया में , की मुझे पहली बार ये ज्ञात हुआ 20 वर्षों के बाद की जिस राजस्थान स्कूल ऑफ़ आर्टस कॉलेज में मैंने खून पसीना बहकर मास्टर ऑफ़ फाइन आर्ट डिग्री को स्थापित करने में योगदान देते हुए टॉपर का रिजल्ट दिया , उसी कला विद्यार्थी की , और मास्टर ऑफ़ फाइन आर्ट बैच प्रथम राजस्थान स्कूल ऑफ़  आर्ट्स कॉलेज  जयपुर 2004 -2005 की डिग्री का कोई दस्तावेज राजस्थान स्कूल ऑफ़ आर्ट्स कॉलेज के रजिस्टर में आज तक दर्ज नहीं है ! 

बात हास्य स्पद के साथ  कटुसत्य भी यही है ! और गले से निचे न उतरने वाली बात भी है ! पर अब है तो है कोई क्या कर सकता है ! गयी बात को घोड़े भी नहीं निवड सकते !  खेर अंत भला तो सब भला ! बुरे का मुँह कला अक्सर ट्रक के पीछे लिखा पढ़ते है रोड पर , लेकिन आज उपयोग में लिया है लेखन में भाव के साथ ! 

 

मुझे  20  वर्ष बाद फिर से मास्टर ऑफ़ फाइन आर्ट पेंटिंग की डिग्री पाने को यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ़ राजस्थान जयपुर हाल ही में जाना पड़ा ! वहाँ  जाकर डिग्री प्राप्ति के लिए जरुरी दस्तावेज जिसमे मार्कशीट , आधार आदि के साथ 410 रूपए की टोकन मनी / फीस देकर रसीद लेनी पड़ी ! साथ ही यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ़ राजस्थान जयपुर के लाइब्रेरी स्टाफ के अधिकारी  श्री  मुकेश कंडेला जी और मेरे राजस्थान स्कूल ऑफ़ आर्टस  के कर्मचारी श्री प्रदीप जी के साथ मेरे जूनियर और अब राजस्थान स्कूल ऑफ़ आर्ट्स एलुमनाई के एडमिन मास्टर दधीचि पटेल की भी मदद लेनी पड़ी ! तब जाकर मुझे मास्टर ऑफ़ फाइन आर्ट्स पेंटिंग की डिग्री जिसे मैंने वर्ष 2005 में पूर्ण की थी प्रथम स्थान पाते हुए उसे पाने का कोई रास्ता बना ! मास्टर्स की डिग्री प्राप्त करने की प्रक्रिया मैंने दिनांक 27 - 4 -2026 को सम्पन की थी रिकॉर्ड ऑफिस  यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ़ राजस्थान जयपुर से और आज दस दिनों के बाद मेरी मास्टर ऑफ़ फाइन आर्ट्स की डिग्री यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ़ राजस्थान की मेरे हाथ में है ! आभार सभी स्टाफ मेंबर्स ऑफ़ यूनिवर्सिटी  ऑफ़ राजस्थान का  जिन्होंने मेरी 20 वर्ष पुरानी डिग्री को नए कलेवर में बनाने के लिए जो अथक परिश्रम किया उसके लिए ! मेरा ये भी मानना है की आप सभी बहुत ही अच्छे व्यक्ति है और हमारे राजस्थान में  शिक्षा के चहुमुखी विकास के लिए प्रतिबद्ध होकर यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ़ राजस्थान  में अपनी  सेवा दे रहे है ! आप सभी की जय हो ! 

यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ़ राजस्थान ने मुझे ये डिग्री भारतीय डाक सेवा से बीकानेर  पहुंचाई है ! जिसे मैंने आज सुबह बीकानेर के मुख्य डाकघर से प्राप्त की ! कल श्याम को स्पीड पोस्ट डाक सेवा के एक पोस्ट मैन ने मुझे कॉल किया और जानकारी दी की आप की कोई डाक आयी हुई है यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ़  राजस्थान  जयपुर से ! तो वो आप को आज श्याम को या फिर कल तक पहुँच हो जायेगी ! 

अब आप जानते है दूध का जला छाछ भी फूंक फूंक कर पिता है ! मुझे भय हुआ की डाक बीकानेर आयी हुई है कहीं किसी कारण वश डाक वापसी न हो जाए और बात ये न हो जाए की हाथ तो आया पर मुँह न लगा , और मेरी मास्टर्स की डिग्री प्राप्ति की कहानी का कहीं दोहराव न होजाए  !

 सो मैंने डाक सेवा के नंबर पर मेरी लोकेशन भेजी पर बात न बनी ! रात हो गयी पर डाक मेरे हाथ में नहीं आयी ! तो मैंने मेरे संपर्क सूत्र को साधा ! बीकानेर के बहुत ही खास और विशिष्ठ व्यक्तित्व के धनि हास्य व्यंग के कवि श्री बाबूलाल छंगाणी जी को सूचना दी की 20 साल बाद मेरी मास्टर्स की डिग्री यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ़ राजस्थान जयपुर से मेरे लिए मेरे पते पर बीकानेर आयी है और आप के मुख्य डाकघर में है !  श्री बाबूलाल छंगाणी जी बीकानेर हेड पोस्ट ऑफिस में पोस्टमेन केडर के पद पर कार्यरत है ! साहित्यकार कवि श्री बाबूलाल छंगाणी जी जितने अच्छे व्यंग के कवि है उतने ही गहरे और संजीदा व्यक्ति भी ! उन्होंने मेरी बात के विषय को गम्भीरता से समझते हुए मुझे आज सुबह मुख्य डाकघर बीकानेर आने को कहा ! मैंने अपने आप को उनके निर्देशानुसार समय पर मुख्य डाकघर में उपस्थित करते हुए सीधे श्री बाबूलाल जी से संपर्क किया ! आप ने बिना वक्त गवाए स्पीड पोस्ट के उस पोस्टमैन जिनका नाम मास्टर दीपक था उनसे संपर्क करते हुए मुझे मेरी मास्टर् ऑफ़ फाइन आर्ट्स की डिग्री का बड़ा सा लिफाफा जो की यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ़ राजस्थान जयपुर  से मेरे लिए आया उसे अपने हाथों से मुझे ससम्मान थमाया मुझे हार्दिक बधाई देते हुए ! रोचक पल था वो मेरे लिए मेरे ही शहर के एक वरिष्ठ साहित्यकार के हाथों मुझे मेरी मास्टर्स की डिग्री का मिलना २० साल बाद वाह  ! अनौपचारिक फिर भी सरकारी दीक्षांत समारोह जैसे भाव के साथ अध्भुत पल थे वो मेरे लिए शब्द नहीं व्याख्या को ! 

उन विशेष पलों में मैंने श्री बाबूलाल छंगाणी जी से कहा की मुझे ऐसा महसूस हो रहा है मानो यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ़ राजस्थान ने भारतीय डाक सेवा के बीकानेर के हेड ऑफिस में मुझे मास्टर्स की डिग्री देने को एक विशेष दीक्षांत समारोह आयोजित करते हुए  , आप के आतिथ्य में आप के करकमलों से मुझे मेरी 20 वर्ष पूर्व उत्तीर्ण की गयी प्रथम श्रेणी की मास्टर ऑफ़ फाइन आर्ट , पेंटिंग की  डिग्री प्राप्त करने का ये सुअवसर बनाया है ! 

आप ने मेरे लिए अपने एक सहकर्मचारी को आवाज देकर मुझे मेरी मास्टर्स की डिग्री के लिफाफे कोअपने हाथ से  मेरे  हाथ में थमते हुए के फोटो भी  लेने को कहा मेरे कैमरा से , जिसके लिए वे बीकानेर मुख्य डाकघर के खुले प्रांगण में भी आये और तस्वीर की लोकेशन भी  चयनित की ! सो भारतीय डाक सेवा की जिमेवारी को जिमेवारी के साथ दिल से पूर्ण करने के लिए भी श्री बाबूलाल छंगाणी जी को बारमबार साधुवाद ! 

जो काम 20 वर्ष पूर्व यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ़ राजस्थान के प्रांगण में दीक्षांत समारोह के तहत हो जाना था वो आज बीकानेर के मुख्य डाक घर के प्रांगण में सम्पन हुआ ! जिसे मैंने ऐसे स्वीकार किया मानो देर आये दुरुस्त आये ! और उन पलों को दीक्षांत समारोह मानते हुए मेरे और  श्री बाबूलाल  छंगाणी जी के साथ युनिवेर्सिटी  ऑफ़ राजस्थान के मास्टर ऑफ़ फाइन आर्ट डिग्री के  लिफाफे की फोटो को मैंने आर्टिफीसियल इंटेलिजेंस - ऐ आई - के जरिये दीक्षांत समारोह के भाव में निर्मित करते हुए मन की मृग तृष्णा को शांत करने का प्रयास भी किया कलाकार की भूमिका  में मास्टर ऑफ़ फाइन आर्ट्स होने के नाते ! 

यहाँ बीकानेर के मुख्य डाकघर के प्रांगण में  श्री बाबूलाल छंगाणी जी द्वारा मुझे मेरी मास्टर्स ऑफ़ फाइन आर्ट की डिग्री के लिफाफे को थमाते हुए पलों के फोटो के साथ एक आर्टिफीसियल इंटेलिजेंस के सहयोग से बनाये गए दीक्षांत समारोह के भाव का डिजिटल इमेज तथा युनिवेर्सिटी ऑफ़ राजस्थान से मिली  मेरी मास्टर ऑफ़ फाइन आर्ट की डिग्री के फोटो के साथ आप के अवलोकन हेतु !
