Sant Sai Nath Public School, Bikaner's "Cultural Aptitude Yajna 2026"
I have been associated with several organizations—both offline and online—since their inception; all of them are dedicated to the cause of Indian art, culture, and education. Occasionally, they also invite me to contribute to the cultural rituals and endeavors they organize.
One such educational institution, Sant Sai Nath Public School (located on Shriramsar Road, Bikaner, Rajasthan), conducted a 21-day cultural interest camp during the summer break of 2026. Around 50 children participated and received training in various facets of Indian culture. Expert instructors provided daily training—from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, between May 25 and June 14, 2026—covering significant subjects such as music, musical instruments, painting, the art of tying traditional turbans (*pagri/safa*), hairstyling, yoga, sports (both traditional and contemporary), *mehndi* application, handicrafts, and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
My role in this camp was that of an instructor, and I taught painting to the children. Over those 20 days, I endeavored to instill in them a sense of connection with creativity. Moving beyond their routine academic studies, the children used their pencils to create imaginative drawings. I assigned them exercises involving "still life" studies—observing an object and then sketching it themselves, thereby developing their observational skills on paper. The children succeeded in this endeavor; over the course of the camp, they independently sketched about 15 different objects. This was not only a novel experience for them but also an exercise that boosted their self-confidence and filled them with the thrill of artistic creation. For me, serving as an instructor in this camp was a deeply fulfilling experience. During those 20 days, I felt that the interest-based camp was akin to a *Yajna* (sacred ritual) of talent and passion, where every instructor made a dedicated contribution. The success of this endeavor was also made possible by the organizing team—led by Coordinator Dr. Namami Shankar Acharya, Headmaster Shri Bhawani Shankar Acharya, Master Bhaskar Acharya, and Ms. Bhavana Acharya—along with the entire staff of Sant Sai Nath Public School.
The Rajasthan chapter of the Indian Adult Education Association (New Delhi)—an organization committed to the holistic development of Indian culture—provided full support to Sant Sai Nath Public School for this camp. This collaboration struck me as a very positive sign for cultural growth; kudos to the Rajasthan unit of the Indian Adult Education Association!
The camp concluded on June 14, 2026, with a closing ceremony that featured a cultural program. An exhibition showcased the children's creative work—including paintings, handicrafts, *mehndi* designs, turban-tying art, hairstyles, and other forms of creative expression—which was highly appreciated by the parents.
Distinguished guests present at the closing ceremony included litterateur Shri Rajendra Joshi, police officer Shri Mukesh Acharya, and educationist Shri Om Prakash Saraswat. From the stage, they boosted the morale of the instructors and participants by presenting them with mementos and certificates of appreciation, while also encouraging them to continue nurturing and developing their interests in the future. Sant Sai Nath Public School also honored the three guests by presenting them with traditional *uparnas* (ceremonial stoles) on stage. I am sharing here some images captured by my camera during the interest-based workshop held at Sant Sai Nath Public School. I present them for your viewing so that you may see who contributed to making this cultural 'Yajna' (collaborative endeavor) a success over the past 20 days.

संत साईँ नाथ पब्लिक स्कुल बीकानेर का "सांस्कृतिक अभिरुचि यज्ञ 2026"
मित्रों मैं कई संस्थाओं से उनके प्रारंभिक दिनों से जुड़ा हुआ हूँ जिनमे कुछ ऑफलाइन वाली है और कुछ ऑनलाइन वाली और वे सभी भारतीय कला संस्कृति और शिक्षा के लिए प्रतिबद्ध होकर अपना कार्य कर रही है और यदा कदा मुझे भी उनके द्वारा किये जाने वाले उनके सांस्कृतिक अनुष्ठानों और यज्ञों में आहुति देने का अवसर भी प्रदान करती है !
ऐसे ही एक शिक्षण संस्थान संत साईँ नाथ पब्लिक स्कूल श्रीरामसर रोड बीकानेर राजस्थान ने सत्र 2026 के ग्रीष्मकालीन अवकाश में एक सांस्कृतिक अभिरुचि शिविर 21 दिनों तक संचालित किया ! जिसमे करीब 50 बच्चों ने प्रतिभागिता ली और भारतीय संस्कृति के विभिन्न पक्षों का प्रशिक्षण प्राप्त किया ! जिसमे संगीत , वाद्य , चित्रकला , सांस्कृतिक प्रतिक पगड़ी साफा बाँधने की कला , केश विन्यास की कला ( हेयर स्टाइल ) , योग , खेल ( पारम्परिक और समसामयिक ), मेहंदी , हस्तशिल्प कला , आर्टिफीसियल इंटेलिजेंस ( ऐ आई ) जैसे महत्त्व पूर्ण विषयों का प्रशिक्षित प्रशिक्षकों द्वारा प्रशिक्षण प्रतिदिन सायं 5 बजे से 7 बजे / दिनाक 25 -5 -2026 से 14 -6 -2026 नियमित दिया गया !
मेरी भूमिका इस शिविर में एक प्रशिक्षक की रही और मैंने चित्रकला विषय का प्रशिक्षण बच्चों को दिया ! दरसल मैंने उन 20 दिनों में बच्चों को रचनात्मकता से सीधे जुड़ने का संस्कार देने का प्रयास किया ! और बच्चों ने पेंसिल चलाकर नियमित पढाई से इतर पेंसिल का उपयोग रचनात्मक चित्र बनाने में किया ! उनके लिए अभ्यास मैंने ये दिया बच्चों को चित्र के लिए की ऑब्जेक्ट को ( स्टिल लाइफ ) देखना फिर उसे देखते हुए खुद से चित्रित करना कागज पर अपनी ऑब्जर्वेशन को विकसित करते हुए ! जिसमे बच्चे सफल भी हुए और उन 20 दिनों में करीब 15 भिन्न भिन्न ऑब्जेक्ट्स की रेखाचित्र बच्चों ने खुद से उकेरे जो उनके लिए नया अनुभव तो था ही साथ में आत्म विश्वास को जगाने का अभ्यास और चित्र रचने के रोमांच से भी उन्हें भर रहा था भीतर से ! जो मेरे लिए आत्म संतुष्टि की अनुभूति रही उस अभिरुचि शिविर में एक प्रशिक्षक के रूप में !
शिविर के उन 20 दिन में मुझे ये भी अनुभूति हुई की अभिरुचि शिविर एक अभिरुचि यज्ञ के समान रहा जिसमे प्रतिदिन सभी प्रशिक्षकों ने अपनी अपनी और से आहुति दी और उस अभिरुचि यज्ञ को आयोजकों की टीम जिसमे मुख्य रूप से संयोजक डॉ. नमामि शंकर आचार्य , प्रधानाध्यापक श्री भवानी शंकर आचार्य , मास्टर भास्कर आचार्य और कुमारी भावना आचार्य के साथ संत साईं नाथ पब्लिक स्कुल का समस्त स्टाफ का भी उस अभिरुचि यज्ञ को सफल करने में योगदान रहा है !
इस अभिरुचि शिविर में संत साईँ नाथ पब्लिक स्कुल संस्थान के साथ भारतीय संस्कृति के चहुँ मुखि विकास के लिए प्रतिबद्ध संस्थान, भारतीय प्रौढ़ शिक्षा संघ , नई दिल्ली की राजस्थान शाखा के अध्यक्ष श्री राजेंद्र जोशी जी ने भी पूर्ण सहयोग प्रदान किया जो संस्कृति के विकास हेतु अच्छे संकेत भी मुझे नजर आये ! सो साधुवाद भारतीय प्रौढ़ शिक्षा संघ , नई दिल्ली शाखा राजस्थान इकाई को !
इस अभिरुचि शिविर का समापन दिनांक 14 - 6 - 2026 को क्लोजिंग सेरेमनी भी एक सांस्कृतिक समारोह के साथ की गयी ! जिसमे बच्चों द्वारा रचे गए अभिरुचि शिविर के चित्र , हस्तशिल्प , मेहंदी डिज़ाइन , पाग पगड़ी साफा कला , हेयर स्टाइल के साथ कुछ अन्य रचनात्मक अभिव्यक्तियों को प्रदर्शनी के रूप में प्रदर्शित भी किया गया जिसे बच्चों के अभिभावकों ने काफी सराहा !
क्लोजिंग सेरेमनी के अवसर पर गेस्ट रूप में उपस्थित हुए साहित्यकार श्री राजेंद्र जोशी जी , पुलिस अधिकारी श्री मुकेश आचार्य जी और शिक्षा विद श्री ओम प्रकाश सारस्वत जी , आप तीनो ने मंच से अभिरुचि शिविर के सभी प्रशिक्षकों और प्रतिभागियों को सम्मान देते हुए प्रतीक चिन्ह और प्रशस्ति पत्र भेंट करते हुए उनका मनोबल बढ़ाया और भविष्य में भी इसी प्रकार स्वयं से अभिरुचि को जाग्रत और विकसित करने हेतु प्रेरित भी किया ! संत साईँ नाथ पब्लिक स्कुल ने आप तीनो अतिथि जन का भी मच से सम्मान उन्हें उपरना भेंट करते हुए किया !
यहाँ मेरे कैमरा से कुछ खास पलों की छवियाँ उस अभिरुचि शिविर की आप के अवलोकन हेतु प्रेषित कर रहा हूँ ताकि आप भी जाने की संत साईँ नाथ पुब्लिक स्कूल में पिछले 20 दिनों में अभिरुचि शिविर / यज्ञ में किन किन ने आहुति देते हुए इस सांस्कृतिक यज्ञ को सफल बनाया !
