I spent two days in my hometown, Bikaner, attending the "Srujan Samman" for young music practitioners...
Friends, last week, on 2/2/2026, I dedicated two days of my artistic journey to young artists in Bikaner.
During these two days, one of the young musicians, Master Divyanshu Narayan Vyas, a young singer from Bikaner, released his latest bhajan album, and I had the opportunity to witness and coordinate it.

It so happened that my friend, Master Upendra Narayan Vyas from BK School, Bikaner, informed me that his son, Master Divyanshu Narayan Vyas, had produced another bhajan album, for which I had contributed music and lyrics. I wanted you, Yogendra Kumar Purohit, to release this bhajan album. A friend's wish is like an order. So, I told my friend, "Let's do something about this album's release. Please give me some time!"
It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say it coincided with the same day! My junior student from Rajasthan School of Art College, Master Dadhichi Patel, called me this morning to inform me that he would be in Bikaner for the next two or three days. He was accompanied by two young musicians. Both instrumentalists are Master Mansingh, a Bhapang player from the Hadoti region, and Arjun Kar, a banjo player from Bengal. They also have a filmmaker, Master Anurag Dixit, from Bharatpur.

As the coordinator, I arranged the event and informed my friend Upendra that the bhajan album "Radhe Naam Se Meri Zindagi" would be released that evening at 5 pm sharp in the Bishnoi Dharamshala.
My friend Upendra Narayan Vyas arrived on time at the Bishnoi Dharamshala with his son, Master Divyanshu Narayan Vyas. The guest artist, who was to release the album, was present at the Bishnoi Dharamshala for us, along with my junior Master Dadhichi Patel.
I, along with my fellow artists, set up a makeshift stage at the Bishnoi Dharamshala itself and directly requested the guest artists to launch the Bhajan album "Radhe Naam Se Meri Zindagi" online from their laptops, without any formalities. Master Anurag Dixit, along with Master Mansingh and Master Arjun Kar, launched the album. Present on stage during the launch ceremony were Master Dadhichi Patel, Master Upendra Narayan Vyas, Master Mintu (tabla player), Master RK Ishwarlal Bishnoi, the manager of the Bishnoi Dharamshala and the dining hall, and I, the coordinator, Master Yogendra Kumar Purohit.

This was the story of the first day! The next day, on 3/4/2026, I shared the idea of launching this bhajan album with Dr. Damodar Tanwar (senior musician), Secretary of Bhav Shilam Kala Sanstha, Bikaner. He suggested honoring the two visiting young musicians from outside and said that he would also present them with a turban, a symbol of Rajasthani tradition, along with an informal meeting. So, I organized another award ceremony to honor the musicians. I requested Bikaner's Deputy Public Relations Officer, Dr. Harishankar Acharya, to be the chief guest at the ceremony. Because you are a poet, lyricist, and have an interest in music, you agreed. Along with the two guest artists, Master Arjun Kar and Master Anurag Dixit, they also accepted our request to honor us and invited us to the Anand Hotel in Bikaner, giving us time, as your temporary residence was the Anand Hotel in Bikaner.
Dr. Damodar Tanwar (in-charge of the Rajasthan division of Speak Make and Secretary of Bhav Sheelam Kala Sanstha) and I arrived on time at Hotel Anand, Bikaner for the second day of the music awards ceremony. We also met senior literary figure Mr. Rajendra Joshi and requested him to spare some time for this ceremony. He kindly accepted the position of President, which was a special feature of our informal awards ceremony. So, thanks to him as well, along with Dr. Harishankar Acharya!
A brief discussion followed with tea and introductions in the auditorium of Hotel Anand. Then, the guest artists were honored with Rajasthani turbans (turbans painted in the colors of Phagna). Dr. Damodar Tanwar, Secretary of Bhav Sheelam Kala Sanstha, Bikaner, personally placed turbans on both the honored guest artists.
Then, both guest poets, President Rajendra Joshi and Dr. Harishankar Acharya, each presented a song and poem, with music composed by Master Anurag and music student Master Ayushman Gaur. Following the poetic and musical duet, the guest artists were each presented with a copy of writer Manish Kumar Joshi's book, Love.com.

Master Mahesh Upadhyay, editor of All India Radio's Bikaner Darpan News, expressed his gratitude at the felicitation ceremony. He recorded the entire ceremony and later broadcast it on All India Radio Bikaner.

On this occasion, Dr. Harishankar Acharya invited the two visiting young musicians to a cultural tour late at night to experience the charm and cuisine of Bikaner. So, at 10 p.m., all of us, along with the guest artists who had attended the Music Awards ceremony, arrived at Bikaner's Mohta Chowk, where our cultural tour, led by Dr. Harishankar Acharya, began. First, the guest artists were treated to Bikaner's famous sweet, Rabri, at Bikaner's renowned Rabri shop, Shri Manka Maharaj's Rabri shop, where young painter Master Kamal Kishore Joshi personally served the guest artists handmade Rabri from his family's shop, receiving a standing ovation. (I had the privilege of paying for the Rabri sweets!)
From Mohta Chowk, our cultural tour continued to Acharya Chowk, where the guest artists witnessed Bikaner's architecture and building construction, as well as the exquisite stone carvings. At the Acharyas' Square, Dr. Harishankar Acharya offered everyone a taste of paan, except me, because I don't consume paan.
Thus, I spent two days with music artists, in a musical environment, and in a celebration of music. This brought me immense spiritual peace and joy. I also had the opportunity to interact with new, young, and dynamic artists, which proved beneficial to my artistic journey.

मित्रों पिछले सप्ताह दिनांक 2 / 2 / 2026 बीकानेर में मैंने मेरी इस कला सृजन यात्रा के दो दिन समर्पित किये युवा संगीत कलाकारों के लिए !
इन दो दिनों में युवा संगीतकारों में से एक कलाकार मास्टर दिव्यांशु नारायण व्यास युवा गायक बीकानेर ने अपने नवीनतम भजन एल्बम का लोकार्पण किया जिसका साक्षी और संयोजक बनने का अवसर मुझे मिला !

हुआ यूँ की मेरे बी के स्कूल बीकानेर के मित्र मास्टर उपेंद्र नारायण व्यास ने मुझे सूचित किया की उसके पुत्र मास्टर दिव्यांशु नारायण व्यास ने एक और भजन एल्बम का निर्माण किया है जिसमे संगीत और शब्द मैंने दिए है और मैं ये चाहता हूँ की तुम यानि की मैं योगेंद्र कुमार पुरोहित इस भजन एल्बम का लोकार्पण करूँ ! मित्र की इच्छा भी आदेश के समान ही होती है ! सो मैंने मित्र से कहा की कुछ करते है इस एल्बम के लोकार्पण के लिए ! जरा समय दो !

ठीक उसी दिन संयोग वस् भी कहूं तो अतिश्योक्ति नहीं होगी ! जयपुर से मेरे राजस्थान स्कूल ऑफ़ आर्ट कॉलेज के जूनियर स्टूडेंट मास्टर दधीचि पटेल ने मुझे सुबह फ़ोन करके सूचित किया था की वो अगले दो तीन दिन बीकानेर में ही है और उसके साथ दो युवा संगीतकार भी है दोनों वाद्य यंत्र वादक है एक का नाम मास्टर मानसिंघ जो भपंग वादक हाड़ोती अंचल से है और दूसरे अर्जुन कर जो बंगाल से और बेंज़ो वादक है ! इनके साथ एक फिल्म मेकर भी है मास्टर अनुराग दीक्षित जो भरतपुर से है !
मैंने संयोजक के रूप में संयोग बिठाया और मित्र उपेंद्र को सूचित किया की भजन एल्बम " राधे नाम से मेरी जिंदगी " का लोकार्पण आज ही सायं को बिश्नोई धर्मशाला के प्रांगण में करेंगे ठीक 5 बजे !
मित्र उपेंद्र नारायण व्यास अपने पुत्र मास्टर दिव्यांशु नारायण व्यास के साथ समय पर पहुंचा बिश्नोई धर्मशाला और उनके अतिथि कलाकार जिनके हाथ से एल्बम का लोकार्पण होना था वे उपस्थित थे बिश्नोई धर्मशाला में हमारे लिए मेरे जूनियर मास्टर दधीचि पटेल के साथ !
मैंने बिश्नोई धर्मशाला में ही साथी कलाकारों के साथ मिलकर एक अस्थाई मंच बनाया और सीधे अतिथि कलाकारों से बिना किसी औपचारिकता के भजन एल्बम "राधे नाम से मेरी जिंदगी " का लोकार्पण ऑनलाइन प्लटफॉर्म पर लैपटॉप से लॉन्च करने का आग्रह किया ! जिसे लोकार्पित किया मास्टर मानसिंघ और मास्टर अर्जुन कर के साथ मास्टर अनुराग दीक्षित ने ! इस लोकार्पण समारोह के समय मंच पर उपस्थित थे मास्टर दधीचि पटेल , मास्टर उपेंद्र नारायण व्यास , मास्टर मिंटू ( तबला वादक ), बिश्नोई धर्मशाला व् भोजनशाला के प्रबंधक मास्टर , आर के ईश्वरलाल बिश्नोई और मैं संयोजक मास्टर योगेंद्र कुमार पुरोहित भी !

ये कहानी रही प्रथम दिन की ! उसके अगले दिन यानी की दिनांक 3 /4 /2026 को भव शिलम कला संस्था बीकानेर के सचिव डॉ. दामोदर तंवर ( वरिष्ठ संगीतज्ञ ) से मैंने इस भजन एल्बम के लोकार्पण के सन्दर्भ में बात साझा की तो उन्होंने बहार से आये दोनो अतिथि युवा संगीतकारों के सम्मान करने की बात कही और कहा की उनसे एक अनौपचारिक भेंट के साथ उन्हें राजस्थानी परंपरा का प्रतिक साफा भी भेंट करेंगे ! सो मैंने पुनः एक अन्य सम्मान समारोह जो की संगीत के कलाकारों के सम्मान में होना था उसका संयोजन किया ! मैंने बीकानेर के उप जनसम्पर्क अधिकारी डॉ. हरिशंकर आचार्य से आग्रह किया समारोह में मुख्य अतिथि की भूमिका के लिए ! क्योंकि आप कवि , गीतकार , और संगीत में रूचि रखते है आप ने सहमति दी साथ थी दोनों अतिथि कलाकार जिनमे मास्टर अर्जुन कर और मास्टर अनुराग दीक्षित ने भी हमारे सम्मान करने के आग्रह को स्वीकारते हुए हमें बीकानेर की आनंद होटल में ही आमंत्रित किया और समय दिया क्योंकि आप का अस्थाई निवास आनंद होटल बीकानेर ही रहा !
इस दूसरे दिन के संगीत सम्मान समारोह के लिए मैं और डॉ. दामोदर तंवर ( स्पीक मेके के राजस्थान संभाग के प्रभारी और भव शीलम कला संस्था के सचिव ) समय पर उपस्थित हुए होटल आनंद बीकानेर ! वही हमें वरिष्ठ साहित्यकार श्री राजेंद्र जोशी जी भी मिले उन्हें इस सम्मान समारोह में समय देने के आग्रह किया तो आप ने स्वीकृति देते हुए अध्यक्ष पद के पद भार को भी स्वीकारा जो विशेष बात हुई हमारे इस अनौपचारिक सम्मान समारोह की ! सो उन्हें भी साधुवाद डॉ.हरिशंकर आचार्य जी के साथ !
आनंद होटल के सभागार में एक चाय पर चर्चा और परिचय के साथ संक्षिप्त परिचर्चा का सत्र हुआ ! फिर अतिथि कलाकारों का सम्मान राजस्थानी साफा ( फागणिया रंग में रंगे साफे ) से दोनों अतिथि साहित्यकार , कवि श्री राजेंद्र जोशी जी और डॉ. हरिशंकर आचार्य जी के साथ भव शीलम कला सस्थां बीकानेर के सचिव डॉ. दामोदर तंवर जी ने अपने हाथ से दोनों सम्मानित होने वाले अतिथि कलाकारों को साफा पहनाकर किया !

फिर दोनों अतिथि कवि अध्यक्ष राजेंद्र जोशी जी और डॉ. हरिशंकर आचार्य जी ने अपनी एक एक गीत काव्य प्रस्तुति दी जिस पर संगीत धुन दी मास्टर अनुराग और संगीत विद्यार्थी मास्टर आयुष्मान गौड़ ने ! काव्य संगीत की जुगल बंदी के बाद साहित्यकार मनीष कुमार जोशी की पुस्तक लव डॉट कॉम की एक एक प्रति अतिथि कलाकरों को भेंट की गयी !
सम्मान सम्मरोह में आभार ज्ञापित किया आकाशवाणी के बीकानेर दर्पण समाचार के संपादक मास्टर महेश उपाध्याय ने , आप ने इस सम्मान समारोह को पूरा रिकॉर्ड किया और बाद बीकानेर आकाशवाणी से प्रसारित भी !

इस अवसर पर डॉ. हरिशंकर आचार्य जी ने दोनों अतिथि युवा संगीतकारों को देर रात्रि में बीकानेर की रौनक और खान पान का जायका लेने के लिए एक सांस्कृतिक यात्रा में आमंत्रित किया ! सो ठीक 10 बजे हम सभी सदस्य जो की संगीत सम्मान समारोह में शामिल हुए अतिथि कलाकारों के सहित वे पहुंचे बीकानेर के मोहता चौक और वहाँ से डॉ. हरिशंकर आचार्य जी की अगवाई में हमारी सांस्कृतिक यात्रा आरम्भ हुई , जिसमे पहले पहल अतिथि कलाकारों को बीकानेर की मशहूर मिठाई रबड़ी का जायका दिलवाया गया , बीकानेर की मशहूर राबड़ी की दूकान श्री मनका महाराज की रबड़ी की दूकान से जहाँ युवा चित्रकार मास्टर कमल किशोर जोशी ने स्वयं अपने हाथ से बनायी हुई रबड़ी अपने परिवार की दूकान से अतिथि कलाकारों को खिलाई और वाह वाही ली ! ( उस रबड़ी की मिठाई की कीमत का भुगतान करने का सौभाग्य मुझे मिला ) !
मोहता चौक से हमारी सांस्कृतिक यात्रा आगे बढ़ी आचार्यों के चौक की और इस बिच अतिथि कलाकारों ने बीकानेर की वास्तु और भवन निर्माण की कला के साथ स्टोन कार्विंग की बेहतरीन कारीगिरी भी देखि ! आचार्यों के चौक में डॉ. हरिशंकर आचार्य जी ने सभी सदस्यों को पान का जायका दिलवाया मुझे छोड़कर क्योंकि मैं पान का सेवन नहीं करता हूँ !

इस प्रकार मेरे दो दिन बीते संगीत के कलाकरों के साथ संगीत के माहौल में और संगीत के सम्मान में उसके संयोजन में ! जिस से मुझे बहुत ही आत्मिक सुकून और आनंद की अनुभूति हुई साथ ही इन दो दिनों में नए युवा और जुझारू कलाकारों के साथ संवाद करने का अवसर भी मिला जो लाभ प्रदत रहा मेरी इस कला यात्रा के लिए !
सो मैंने ऊपर लिखा इस बात को की .. युवा संगीत साधकों के " सृजन सम्मान " में बीते दो दिन मेरे - शहर बीकानेर में ...
