( My Heritage project work of year 2023)
This year 2023 my city Bikaner we got a national cultural festival “ Rashtriya sanskriti Mahotsav 2023 from Ministry of Culture department of GOVT. of INDIA . The west zone culture center Udaipur , Rajasthan was handling to handicraft stalls in this National festival . Director of WZCC Udaipur shrimati Kiran Soni Gupta ji was selected to two craft man from Bikaner for this national festival of INDIA . it was great chance for craft persons of Bikaner , they were participated in National cultural festival of India as a registered craft man of Bikaner. Craft man master Ramkumar Bhadani ( Golden art painting ) and senior craft man master Moolchand Mahatma ( folk painting /classical painting matheran art of Bikaner school ) .

In festival our center culture Minister shree Arjun Ram Meghwal ji and our Governor of Rajasthan were visited first time to classical painting of matheran Art ( painting of Bikaner School ) in this national Cultural Festival of INDIA . so it was a great movement for Matheran painting or that’s craft man Shree Mool Chand Mahatma Bikaner . He was came in lime light first time after 40 years by selection from Director of WZCC Udaipur shrimti Kiran Soni Gupta ji .
On day of Closing ceremony of Rashtriya Sanskriti Mahotsav 2023 Bikaner , the Director of WZCC Udaipur shrimati kiran Soni gupta ji was visiting to all stalls of craft man’s , in same time senior craft man shree Mool chand Mahatma was gifted his hand made painting of matheran Style to Director of WZCC Udaipur . In same time The Director of WZCC Udaipur was offered a GURU SHISHYA PARAMPARA project to Shree Mool chand Mahatma .
He was accepted that offer for Bikaner . There to my role was started or you can say I did committed to myself for classical painting of Bikaner School/ Matheran Art . I was worked as a helping hand of Craft Person Mool Chand mahatma or Shree Mool chand Mahatma was got confidence because I said I will support to you in this project because it was his first art project in his 40 years art journey ..
First I were wrote a application to Director of WZCC Udaipur for demand of GURU SHISHYA PARAMPARA workshop in Bikaner . That application was submitted with name of Kala Guru shree Mool Chand Mahatma matheri painting master of Bikaner School .
The WZCC Udaipur was gave approved to this Guru Shishya parampara workshop for Bikaner . on date 1 May 2023 craft man master Mool chand mahatma was started to workshop at his home with 10 young girls and boys of Bikaner .
In that list young artist master Ram kumar Bhadhani ( registered Artisan DCH ) , master Kamal Kishor Joshi ( registered Artisan DCH ) , Miss Chanchal mahatma ( daughter of Mool chand mahatma ) , miss wandana mahatma ( daughter of Mool chand mahatma ), miss Harshita harsh ( textile designing student in GOVT . collage of Bikaner ) , master yogesh ranga ( freelancer artist ) , master Ravi Upadhyay ( fine art student ) , master Ganesh Ranga ( fine art student ) master pulkit harsh ( freelancer artist ) , master Karan Ojha ( freelancer artist ) .
This Guru Shishya Parampara Workshop was stated with pana painting ( paper painting by traditional colors ) in matheran style or with outdoor visit of original classical matheran painting of temple of Bikaner . by this outdoor classes guru Mool chand mahatma was guided to students about history of Matheran painting or that’s subjects plus technical part .
First month of this workshop all students were painted to Ganesh pana, in second month they painted to bagbadi traditional prop of jain Community or that’s live activity . in third month they painted to dhinga gangour pana and in month four they were painted to laxmi pana painting or in month five they were learned how to make traditional colors for classical matheran painting , they were made colors from his/ her hands in style of Bikaner painting school . in last month they were painted manhot painting ( embossing work with original gold color ) .
I were watching to all activity or I did communicating mostly every day with students or kala Guru Moolchand mahatma plus staff member of WZCC Udaipur , I gave idea for design a whatsapp group so kala guru Mool chand mahatma was maintained a whatsapp group in that group he was admin and students plus staff member of WZCC Udaipur were added .but i was out of that group . because I was not a part of this workshop .
For presentation or social art communication I talked to Editor Piysh Mishra ji of Dainik Bhaskar Bikaner , He was done a promise to kala Guru Mool Chand Mahatma for publication of Guru Shishay Parampara workshop. Editor Piyush Mishra and His team member culture Reporter DB master Shyam Ojha , reporter Parimal harsh and reporter Umashankar vyas were continue gave right space to this GURU SHISHYA PARAMPARA workshop of classical matheran painting school of Bikaner.
It was real motivational art action from Dainik Bhaskar news paper team of Bikaner for all member of this art workshop . in this press activity I were designed to all press notes or that’s important point of art classes plus visuals of workshop for press publication .
In last month of this workshop I designed a exhibition of students paintings, so we were demand a sponsorship for exhibition from Dainik Bhaskar News Paper Bikaner . we got their support so we exhibited some selective art works of all students in Maharani Sudarshana Kala Dirgha Bikaner for two days ( Date 6/11/2023 to 7/11/2023 ) . exhibition was started from hand of Senior painter of Bikaner Shree Harigopal harsh Sannu ji . many art lovers and art students were visited to this classical matheran painting exhibition in that two days . or by that exhibition GURU SHISHYA PARAMPARA workshop was completed and that was closing ceremony of this art camp .
In last I have submitted complete report of this art workshop to WZCC Udaipur as a final submission of workshop on postal address of WZCC Udaipur , Rajasthan . The post was received at office of WZCC Udaipur so my duty was completed . for this heritage art project .
I did played a role of conductor in this very important art task , I did not collect any money , publicity or any post or benefit but I did dedicated my time and contributed my art space for help to craft man or to painting of Bikaner School . I am happy because all are feel good after join to this art task or they were completed it with full patience in this six month.
By this workshop or project first time Classical Matheran painting of Bikaner school was come out to Matheran Family or 10 art students were learned to this original classical painting of Bikaner , I sure this workshop experience will support to them in their art journey .
They all were gave me full respect and love so I am very much thankful for all studenta , kala guru Shree Mool chand mahatma or his helping hand assistant kala guru elder sister Shrimati Lali Mahatma , I am thankful for Editor of Dainik Bhaskar shree Piyush Mishra ji or culture reporter mr. Shyam oha , mr. parimal harsh and mr. Umashankar vyas of Dainik Bhaskar news paper Bikaner , I am also thankful for Director of West Zone culture center Srimati Kiran soni Gupta Ma’am she was appointed to me ( none official job but committed art job of Myself about promotion of classical art ) for managing to this workshop in Bikaner .
I have done many work for heritage as a project in my art journey , so this GURU SHISHYA PARAMPARA workshop is added in that heritage work list of myself . it was in my interest so I dedicated my time to this art task of Bikaner painting school .
