Studying is never in vain...
Friends, in the last months of last year, I studied the complete Hindi and English literary works of a senior Indian writer, poet, columnist, national thinker, editor, and publisher, Chartered Accountant Mr. Pramod Shah Nafis (Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan/Kolkata). The person who made this opportunity available to me was Mr. Hinglaj Dan Ratnu Ji Dasodi from Bikaner! He is currently a Public Relations Officer and also the In-charge Officer of the Rajasthan Tourism Department in Kolkata! When he gifted me the first book by writer Mr. Pramod Shah Nafis, I studied it and wrote a critical review in Hindi, which I shared with Mr. Hinglaj Dan Ratnu Ji. He shared that Hindi note, commentary, and book review with the author, Mr. Pramod Shah Nafis, and the result was that Mr. Pramod Shah Nafis sent me a copy of his entire literary collection from Kolkata to Bikaner via postal service. It was a parcel of about 10 to 12 books weighing 8 kilograms! This was the first time in my artistic journey that I received such a gift from a writer! It was given with the complete trust that I, the recipient, would study it with complete dedication! And I regularly studied all those books, which were in Hindi and English, over three to four months, writing critical commentaries on them in sequence and sharing them on my social media pages!

Those shared posts were noticed and appreciated by writers and journalists from across the country and abroad, as well as from my city of Bikaner! This built my confidence in
my method of literary study and my style of expression! So, many thanks to all of them for encouraging me in this way!
In this process of encouragement, a senior journalist, editor, publisher, writer, and playwright from my city of Bikaner, Mr. Harish B. Sharma, told me that I had read the complete works of Mr. Pramod Shah Nafis, and he had seen and read my commentaries on that study through Facebook and WhatsApp! So I would like you to provide me with a note of about 400 to 500 words on the complete works of Mr. Pramod Shah Nafees! In that note, please also mention all of Mr. Pramod Shah Nafees's books that you have studied! I want to publish it in my national newspaper, "Rajsuya" weekly.

So I took this task as a challenge, thinking that it's like trying to fit the ocean into a small pot, saying everything in a few words, encompassing the vast in the concise, and binding the magnificent in the brief. This is truly a challenge for me because I cannot express myself or write within word limits! In my study process, I honestly write about all aspects of the subject, and that too in detail! In visual arts, one has to completely grasp the subject and then express that completely grasped subject in detail. Since I am a student of visual arts, this has become my nature, and I am satisfied with it! "Mr. Pramod Shah Nafees also felt this and wrote to me that my literary studies and writing felt like the act of creating a painting! (Here, Mr. Pramod Shah Nafees is also studying the reader (which is me) like an observer!)
Now, after accepting the challenge, I prepared a brief commentary within the time and word limits given by Mr. Harish B. Sharma, along with a list of all the literary books I had received from Mr. Pramod Shah Nafees for study! I then sent that brief commentary to the editor of the "Rajsuya" newspaper, and he published it prominently in his newspaper, along with a photograph!

At that time, I realized that what is studied is never wasted; it can prove useful for other readers interested in literature through a literature-promoting newspaper like "Rajsuya" and through the editorial vision of its editor!
That is why I have written above that studying is never in vain...

अध्ययन कभी भी व्यर्थ नहीं होता ...
मित्रों पिछले साल के अंतिम महीनो में मैंने भारत के एक वरिष्ठ साहित्यकार , कवि , कॉलमनिस्ट ,राष्ट्र चिंतक , संपादक और प्रकाशक के साथ चार्टेंट अकाउंटेंट श्री प्रमोद शाह नफ़ीस ( झुंझनू राजस्थान / कोलकता ) का समग्र हिंदी और अंग्रेजी साहित्य का अध्ययन किया , ये अवसर मेरे लिए उपलब्ध करवाने कि योजक कड़ी बने श्री हिंगलाज दान रतनु जी दासौड़ी बीकानेर वाले ! आप वर्तमान में कोलकता में जनसम्पर्क अधिकारी के साथ राजस्थान पर्यटन विभाग के प्रभारी अधिकारी भी है ! जब मेरे हाथ में आपने साहित्यकार श्री प्रमोद शाह नफ़ीस साहब की पहली पुस्तक भेंट स्वरुप थमाई , तो मैंने उसका अध्ययन करते हुए एक समीक्षात्मक नोट हिंदी में लिखा और उसे साझा किया श्री हिंगलाज दान रतनु जी के साथ ! आपने वो हिंदी नोट , टिका , पुस्तक समीक्षा साझा की पुस्तक लेखक श्री प्रमोद शाह नफ़ीस साहब के साथ और उसका परिणाम ये आया की श्री प्रमोद शाह नफ़ीस साहब ने अपने समग्र साहित्य संग्रह की एक एक प्रति मुझे डाक सेवा से कोलकाता से बीकानेर भेजी वो कोई 10 से 12 पुस्तकों का 8 किलोग्राम का पार्सल था ! जो मुझे मेरी इस कला यात्रा में पहली बार किसी साहित्यकार की और से प्राप्त हुआ ! इस पूर्ण विश्वास के भाव से की प्राप्त करने वाला व्यक्ति जोकि मैं इसे पूर्ण निष्ठा के साथ अध्ययन करूँगा ! और मैंने उन सभी पुस्तकें जो हिंदी और अंग्रजी में थी उनका तीन से चार महीने में नियमित अध्ययन करते हुए क्रमवार उनपर समीक्षात्मक टिपणियां भी लिखी और मेरे सोशल मीडिया पेज पर साझा भी की !
उन साझा की हुई पोस्ट को देश विदेश के साथ मेरे शहर बीकानेर के साहित्यकार और पत्रकार परिवार ने भी नोटिस किया और उसे सराहा ! जो मेरे भीतर एक आत्मविश्वास भी बना रहा था मेरे द्वारा किये जाने वाले साहित्य अध्ययन के तरीके और उसे अभिव्यक्त करने की शैली के लिए ! सो उन सभी को साधुवाद मुझे इस तरह से प्रोत्साहित करने के लिए !
इसी प्रोत्साहन की प्रक्रिया में मेरे शहर बीकानेर के एक वरिष्ठ पत्रकार , संपादक, प्रकाशक के साथ साहित्यकार , नाटककार श्री हरीश बी शर्मा ने मुझे कहा की आप ने श्री प्रमोद शाह नफ़ीस साहब के समग्र साहित्य को पढ़ा है और मैंने आप के उस अध्ययन की टिकाएं फेसबुक और व्हाट्सअप के जरिये देखि और पढ़ी है ! सो मैं ये चाहता हूँ की आप श्री प्रमोद शाह नफ़ीस साहब के समग्र साहित्य पर कोई 400 से 500 शब्दों में एक नोट मुझे भी उपलब्ध करवाएं ! उस नोट में आप श्री प्रमोद शाह नफ़ीस साहब की सभी पुस्तकों का जिक्र भी करे जिनको आप ने अध्ययन किया है ! और मैं उसे मेरे राष्ट्रीय अख़बार " राजसूय " साप्ताहिक में प्रकाशित करना चाहता हूँ !
सो मैंने इस कार्य को एक टास्क/ चुनौती के रूप में लिया ये सोचकर की सागर को गागर में समेटने की बात है , कम में सर्वस्व कहना है , लघु में दीर्घ को समेटना है,भव्य को अल्प में बांधना है , जो मेरे लिए वास्तव में चुनौती है क्यों कि मैं शब्द सीमा में बंधकर अपनी बात नहीं कह सकता और लिख सकता ! मैं मेरे अध्ययन की प्रक्रिया में विषय के अध्ययन के उन सभी पहलुओं को ईमानदारी से लिखता हूँ वो भी विस्तार पूर्वक! जिसे दृश्य कला में विषय को सम्पूर्ण ग्रहण करना और फिर उस सम्पूर्ण ग्रहण किये हुए विषय को विस्तार पूर्वक अभिव्यक्त करना होता है , चूँकि मैं दृश्य कला का विद्यार्थी हूँ सो ये मेरा स्वभाव भी बन चूका है और मैं इस से संतुष्ट हूँ !
"इस बात को श्री प्रमोद शाह नफीस साहब ने भी अनुभूत करते हुए मुझे लिखा था "आपकी पढ़ने,लिखने और अभिव्यक्ति की क्षमता अदभुत है।मैं अवाक हूं।समीक्षा में आप पुस्तक की चित्रकारी कर देते है, आभार" ( यहाँ श्री प्रमोद शाह नफ़ीस साहब अध्यन करने वाले पाठक ( जोकि मैं हूँ ) का भी अध्ययन कर रहे है एक निरीक्षक की भांति !
अब मैंने चुनौती स्वीकारने के बाद श्री हरीश बी शर्मा द्वारा दी गयी तय समय सीमा और शब्द सीमा में एक संक्षिप्त टिपणी तैयार की उन सभी साहित्य पुस्तकों की सूचि के साथ जो मुझे प्राप्त हुई थी अध्ययन हेतु श्री प्रमोद शाह नफ़ीस साहब की और से ! और फिर मैंने वो संक्षिप्त टिपणी प्रेषित की " राजसूय " अख़बार के सम्पादक को और आप ने उसे अपने अख़बार में मुख्य स्थान देते हुए छायाचित्र के साथ प्रकाशित किया !
उस समय मुझे ये अनुभूत हुआ की अध्ययन किया हुआ कभी व्यर्थ नहीं जाता वो अध्ययन में रूचि रखने वाले अन्य पाठकों के लिए भी उपयोगी सिद्ध हो सकता है "राजसूय" जैसे साहित्य पोषक अख़बार के जरिये और उसके संपादक की सम्पादकीय दृष्टि के जरिये !
